Looking for a full-time furniture installer to join our installation team. Experience in commercial moving and contract furniture installation a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Read and understand installation packages including floorpans, elevations, specs
  • Take direction and work closely with on-site lead supervisor, working as a team to complete each project
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Install workstations, casegoods, ancillary
  • Reconfigure existing workstations, caseloads
  • KD and move
  • Work closely with trades on site (eg. electricians/data provider)
  • Document any issues or punchlist items identified

Requirements

  • Experience with contract furniture, major brand of contract furniture a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and furniture drawings
  • Provide your own tools
  • Possess reliable transportation to arrive at warehouse in East Providence on-time
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs over head

Personal Qualifications

  • Over 18 years of age, able to pass BCI check

Our Account Coordinators are the backbone of our client teams – helping to move the process through from planning, pricing, order, order tracking, installation and all the logistics in between.

  • Field verify existing conditions and site before (existing) and during construction
  • Manage and update project milestones and schedule (and communicate them to core team)
  • Work directly with sales and client on design, drawing, finish revisions
  • Execute presentation/package presentation including powerpoints
  • Attend client and/or construction status meetings

You’ll leverage the following qualifications and experience:

General Skills:

  • Degree in a Related Field
  • 5+ Years of project management experience (contract furniture or construction preferred)
  • Ability to manage all aspects of office furniture installations from kick off to punch list
  • Ability to price labor costs for office furniture installations
  • Expertise knowledge of commercial construction
  • Knowledge of office furniture systems (Knoll preferred)
  • Knowledge of pre-fabricated architectural wall systems a plus (DIRTT preferred)
  • Knowledge of building and ADA codes (LEED AP a plus)

Looking for specifier/designers at all levels to join our growing team.

This role works within our design studio and very closely with our sales and admin team, ultimately responsible for space planning, furniture layouts and specifications for projects big and small.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in strategic account planning, offering appropriate product solutions and creating consultative relationships with sales representatives and clients.
  • Provides design support across full lifecyle of a project including fit plans, programming, renderings, furniture specifications, furniture installation drawings, etc.
  • Executes RFP response support, which includes content creation, gathering supporting documentation and customizing responses on a project-to-project basis.
  • Executes all CET/CAD/CAP functions necessary in specification, management or organization of project data.
  • Develops color and finish schedules.
  • Delivers complete specifications for FF&E

Design Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in design related field or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of systems furniture (Knoll preferred)
  • Proficiency, accuracy and speed of furniture specification
  • Knowledge of building and ADA codes

Computer/Technical Skills:

  • Space planning software and equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required
  • Experience with CET Configura, CAP Studio, Adobe Creative Suites and other industry software a plus.
