Shared spaces are the heart of an organization. Getting them right requires a unique understanding of the client’s culture, goals and the right product mix. There are critical ingredients to consider when planned shared space: the type of work being done, power, privacy, communication, etc.
Recently, we worked with a leading A&D firm out of Boston and a corporate client to renovate and reinvigorate the core of their headquarters to create a “main street” of shared spaces including a variety of welcoming and inviting lounge areas to socialize and collaborate, cafe style seating to meet and eat, privacy booths to huddle and focus. The result is an elevated and energizing communal space that directly connects with the companies values and vision.
