Jack Sheehan, President
Mr. Sheehan is the Founder and President of Sheehan’s Office Interiors.  He has owned and managed the business for over thirty years.  During this time, it has grown from a small furniture and office supplies retailer to one of the largest full service contract office interiors firms in Southern New England.  His clients represent many of the largest corporations in the region including CVS/Caremark, Citizens Bank, FM Global, Hasbro, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Textron to name a few.  Mr. Sheehan is a graduate of New England College and has been a Rhode Island resident for much of his life.  He currently lives in Newport, RI with his wife Valorie.  When not working, he is most likely to be found on the golf course.

Julie Bursey, Vice President
Ms. Bursey has been a Vice President of Sales with Sheehan’s for over 25 years.  She has managed projects of all scopes and sizes including the Rhode Island headquarters for Citizens Bank and the regional headquarters for AAA of Southern New England.  Prior to her time at Sheehan’s, she worked in the office furniture industry as a showroom manager, sales representative and branch manager.  She has also worked as a media buyer and in customer service for a manufacturer.  Ms. Bursey is a member of the National Association for Female Executives.  She is a longtime Rhode Island resident and attended Bryant College.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading and travelling.

Laurie Montanaro, Vice President
Ms. Montanaro is a professional with over twenty-three years experience in the contract office furniture industry.  For the past 10 years she has focused on new business development as a Vice President with Sheehan’s.  Her accounts include corporate clients of all sizes, as well as health care providers and institutes of higher education.  Recent projects include headquarters for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Big East.  Ms. Montanaro is a member of the Business Owners and Members Association and CoreNet.  She has a BA in Political Science from Rhode Island College and a Certificate in Interior Design from Rhode Island School of Design.  She enjoys spending time with her two children as well as running, skiing and travelling.

Alison Corio, Senior Project Manager/Interior Designer
Ms. Corio is both a Project Manager and Interior Designer and has been with Sheehan’s since December 2007.  She has managed and designed projects for some of our most distinguished clients including CVS/Caremark, Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI, FM Global, Hasrbo, and Johnson & Wales.  Prior to her time at Sheehan’s, Ms. Corio was a design manager for a leading hospitality firm, and also owned her own interior design firm specializing in high end residential and corporate interior design.  She has been a licensed interior designer for over 20 years and is a member of the National Counsel for Interior Design Qualification.  When not designing projects, she enjoys skiing, cooking and gardening.

Gretchen Barron, Senior Project Manager
Ms. Barron has been a Senior Project Manager with Sheehan’s since 2008.  She has worked on master planning for over 1 million square feet of office space at CVS’ campus and helped create the corporate space strategy for Citizens Bank’s acquisition of Charter One.  Her most complex project was the construction and installation of an Electrophysiology Clinic and Procedure Suite for Boston Medical Center while the adjacent emergency room remained operational.  Ms. Barron received her BS in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a member of their alumni association.  She is also a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor.  When not working, she enjoys spending time her husband, two daughters and dog. 

Lee Carpenter, Senior Project Manager/Designer
Mr. Carpenter has been a Senior Project Manager and Designer for Sheehan’s since 2002.  His major clients include CVS/Caremark and Hasbro – Hubworld.  Outside of the office, Mr. Carpenter serves as a coach and board member for Barrington Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading.
